Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern use of the LVD website, digital services, customer accounts and online purchases. The website is operated by S.K.N.Y. Traders Pvt. Ltd., trading as LVD Fashion and Live Vintage Denim. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms and any product, promotion or programme terms clearly shown before purchase.

Nothing in these terms limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under Nepal's consumer, electronic commerce, privacy or other applicable laws.

Using the website

You may use the website only for lawful personal shopping, product research, account management and communication with LVD. You must not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce harmful code, scrape or copy content at scale, misuse offers or accounts, submit false information, impersonate another person or use the service for fraud or resale without authorisation.

Accounts and customer information

You are responsible for providing accurate information and keeping your phone number, address and account details current. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account or verification method unless you promptly report suspected misuse. LVD may ask for reasonable verification before changing account information, releasing an order, processing a refund or responding to a privacy request.

Product information

We aim to describe each product clearly, including its material composition, fit, colour, price, care information, availability and any product-specific technology or warranty. Measurements are guides and may vary within reasonable manufacturing tolerances. Colours can appear different across screens and lighting conditions.

Only claims stated on the relevant product page or product label apply to that item. A collection name or technology description does not mean that every LVD product has the same performance, material or care characteristics.

Availability

All orders are subject to stock availability. An item may become unavailable after an order is submitted because store and online inventory can change. If we cannot supply an item, we will contact you and offer an available lawful option, such as cancellation, substitution with your agreement, exchange or refund.

Prices and taxes

Prices are shown in Nepalese rupees. The final price, applicable taxes and any delivery or service charge will be displayed before you confirm the order. If a clear pricing error occurs, we may contact you for instructions or cancel the affected item and return any amount paid. We will not substitute a different price without your agreement.

Orders and electronic contract

Submitting an order is a request to purchase the items in your cart. We will provide an electronic acknowledgement or confirmation. A binding purchase is formed in accordance with the information and acceptance communicated during checkout and the applicable law. Keep the confirmation, invoice and payment receipt for your records.

LVD may refuse or cancel an order before fulfilment where stock is unavailable, payment is not authorised, information cannot be verified, the order appears fraudulent, a pricing or product error is material, delivery is not reasonably possible, or the order breaches these terms or law. If payment has been received for a cancelled item, we will return the applicable amount.

Payment

Available payment methods are shown at checkout and may include cash on delivery, digital wallets or other approved methods. Payment is subject to the provider's verification and terms. LVD may delay dispatch until payment or required verification is confirmed. Never disclose a wallet password, banking password or one-time password to LVD staff.

Order changes and cancellation

Contact Customer Care as soon as possible if you need to change the recipient, address, item or order. A change or cancellation is not guaranteed after processing or dispatch has begun. Any cancellation right shown at checkout or required by law will apply. If LVD agrees to a change that affects delivery cost or timing, we will explain the effect before proceeding.

Delivery and pickup

Available delivery areas, estimated timing and charges are shown at checkout or in the FAQ. Current estimates are one to two working days inside the Ring Road and three to five working days outside Kathmandu Valley. These are estimates and may be affected by stock location, address verification, courier operations, weather, public holidays, strikes, emergencies or other events outside reasonable control.

You must provide a complete address and an available phone number. The recipient may be asked to confirm identity or order information. Where store pickup is offered, the order is ready only after LVD sends a pickup confirmation. Bring the confirmation and any reasonable identification requested for release.

Inspecting an order

Check the parcel and product promptly. If an item is missing, damaged, defective, incorrect, delayed beyond the agreed period or materially different from its description, contact Customer Care as soon as possible with the order number and available evidence. Do not use, wash, alter or damage an item that you intend to return, except where limited handling is reasonably necessary to identify the issue.

Seven day change of mind exchange

An eligible item may be exchanged within seven days of delivery or purchase when it is unworn, unwashed, unaltered, undamaged, returned with original tags and accompanied by proof of purchase. The replacement is subject to stock availability and any price difference.

For hygiene-sensitive, personalised, altered, clearance or other restricted products, any exchange limitation must be clearly disclosed before purchase and will apply only to the extent permitted by law. A change-of-mind exchange does not replace the rights available for a defective, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed product.

Defective incorrect or misdescribed products

Where a product does not match the information provided, is defective, arrives damaged, is delivered late contrary to the agreed terms, or the wrong item is supplied, LVD will provide the remedy required by applicable law. Depending on the circumstances and the customer's lawful choice, this may include return, replacement, cancellation or refund of the applicable amount, including tax.

A statutory return will not be treated as a change-of-mind exchange. LVD will not use these terms to remove a non-excludable consumer right.

Return method and costs

Contact Customer Care before sending an online order back so that the return method and location can be confirmed. Where LVD supplied a defective, damaged, incorrect or materially misdescribed product, LVD will bear the reasonable return cost when required by law. For an approved change-of-mind exchange, the customer may be responsible for transport or courier cost if that condition was disclosed before the exchange.

Refunds

An approved refund will be made to the original payment method where practical or through another lawful method agreed with the customer. Cash on delivery refunds may require verified bank or wallet details. Processing time can vary by payment provider, but LVD will initiate an approved refund without unreasonable delay and provide confirmation where available.

Warranty and care

A warranty applies only when it is stated for the specific product and subject to the conditions disclosed with that product. Normal wear, accidental damage, misuse, unauthorised alteration and failure to follow care instructions are not manufacturing defects. These limitations do not remove rights that apply under law.

Promotions vouchers and gift benefits

A promotion, voucher, gift benefit or discount may have its own eligibility, dates, product scope, redemption limit and exclusions. Those terms will be shown with the offer. Unless the offer states otherwise, benefits cannot be exchanged for cash, combined through account misuse or applied after a completed purchase. LVD may cancel a benefit obtained through error, fraud or breach of the offer terms, subject to law.

Membership and loyalty services

If LVD offers an account, membership, points, tier or customer-benefit programme, the benefit shown in the customer's account or current programme communication will apply. Benefits may depend on verified purchases, returns and account status. Separate programme terms should explain earning, redemption, expiry, reversals, tier changes and closure. Returning a purchase may reverse a related benefit.

Reviews feedback and submitted content

You must submit only genuine, lawful content based on your own experience and must not include another person's private information without authority. LVD may moderate or remove content that is false, abusive, discriminatory, infringing, promotional spam or unrelated to the product. LVD will not create or arrange deceptive customer reviews.

Intellectual property

The LVD name, logos, photographs, product names, designs, text, graphics, videos, software and website materials are owned by or licensed to LVD and protected by applicable law. Personal viewing and shopping do not transfer ownership. No material may be commercially copied, modified, published, sold or used to imply endorsement without written permission.

Third party services

The website may use or link to payment providers, delivery providers, maps, social networks and other third-party services. Those services may have separate terms. LVD is responsible for its own duties and cannot control an independent third party's website, availability or separate conduct.

Service availability

We may maintain, update, suspend or change parts of the website. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. Where a change affects an existing order, LVD will continue to meet the contract and applicable legal duties or provide an appropriate remedy.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LVD is not liable for loss caused solely by a customer's misuse, unauthorised account activity that the customer failed to report, incorrect delivery information, failure to follow care instructions, or events outside LVD's reasonable control. LVD does not exclude liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, personal injury caused by negligence, statutory consumer remedies or any liability that law does not allow us to exclude.

Governing law and complaints

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Please first contact LVD Customer Care or the Complaint Officer so we can review the order and proposed remedy. You remain free to use any complaint, regulatory, mediation or court process available under applicable law, including consumer remedies.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for future use of the website when our services, policies or legal duties change. The updated version will display a new last-updated date. The terms communicated at the time of an existing order continue to govern that order unless a lawful change is agreed or required.

General provisions

If a provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. These terms, together with the product, checkout, promotion and policy information incorporated into the purchase, form the agreement for the relevant website use or order.
